The time has come and the tulips have sprung! Come see the world-renowned Tulip Festival in Mount Vernon, Washington. Take a selfie, plan your road trip, and soak in the beautiful nature that Skagit Valley has to offer. Download the official Tulip Festival map here.

The Mission of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is to coordinate and promote a countywide Spring celebration of the tulip bloom, in commemoration of the valley’s annual tulip harvest, and to be an advocate for Skagit Valley agriculture. The Tulip Festival is designed as a driving tour as there is no one “site” to enter. The fields of tulips are scattered throughout the Skagit Valley as are the many events and activities that comprise the festival. The tulip fields are the crops of RoozenGaarde/Washington Bulb Co., Inc. and Tulip Town. Due to crop rotation, the fields are in different locations each year. Both RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town also have displays of tulips in gardens for visitors to view and photograph. Read more about the festival and all the great events on the Tulip Festival’s website.

While you’re visiting Mount Vernon, be sure to check out all the great things to do and see, especially the Mount Vernon Tulip Festival Street Fair, held every year in our historic downtown. Sponsored by the Mount Vernon Downtown Association, this year’s Tulip Festival Street Fair is held this year on April 20-22, 2018. This annual event is part of the month-long Tulip Festival. Mount Vernon’s 1st Street is closed to traffic and filled with artists, music, food, and more. The Street Fair runs Friday through Sunday, rain or shine. If you have never been, come see what you have been missing. Read more about the Downtown Mount Vernon Tulip Festival Street Fair here.
